This appears to be a very large Williams tool set - in fact the largest I have seen offered in a complete form.For those of you who do not know, Williams is a company related to Snap On - normally marketed to their industrial tool customers.Snap On is generally considered to be among the finest, if not the finest, maker of hand tools widely available.However this set appears to NOT be Snap On - but rather - Williams.The comparative difference in my opinion between a Cadillac and a Pontiac.
Regardless whether these are Williams full Snap On tools - they will be of good quality and will likely hold up to a lifetime of use.
But at over $40,000? Go to the Snap On website on the internet and price these full tools on their site, paying full retail, and you can likely come close to a building a similar set for comparable money.Considering you can that way buy only the tools you really need right now - and buy the rest if and when you need them - undoubtedly you will spend a lot less money than - $40,000!
I can not say anything bad about the quality of Williams tools - overall they are very good and I in fact have a few of them in my toolbox - along with Snap-On, MAC, MATCO, Cornwell, Proto, Armstrong, SK and other high quality brands.Williams Tools are in my opinion approximately equal to the Proto or Armstrong brands - but not quite up to par with Snap-On, Mac, Matco, or Cornwell.That is my honest impression.
What I absolutely do not agree with is that it is "better to have a tool and not need it - than need it and not have it".If you will need a tool - 95% of the time you have an idea - well in advance.If you do not - then - for that other 5% of the time - is it really better to tie up the amount of money of a new pickup - forever - just in case?Or would you rather postpone the job until tomorrow - order what you need - get the tool overnight - and save thousands of dollars?
The choice is yours.

I ORDERED THIS PRODUCT TWICE AND EVERY TIME I HOOKED IT UP AND USED IT FOR ABOUT TWO MINUTES, IT LEAKED AIR THRU THE BOTTON AND STOPPED WORKING. IT LOOKS LIKE A GOOD MACHINE BUT IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME.

Really nice set. The shafts are typical gearwratchet, no pits, sand or grinder marks. Beautiful bright chrome. Drivers use 1/4" drive just like snap on's. You can use these shafts with snap on's new drivers and save big $$$. 
My husband bought this wrench and if it hadn't taken sooooooo long to get he would be happier.
I will say the idea is really great but there is one problem. It is too small to fit into the cigarette lighter on my 2008 GMC Sierra. It comes with an adapter for this problem but the adapter is to large. 
Well, you get what you pay for.I find the punch to be minimally capable in marking keys - only with great effort will it punch the letter into a key.My 6'+ frame bearing down on it to get the letter into the key has caused the magnet holder part of the punch to crumble (still works tho).That being said, it didn't cost a whole lot and (barely) does what I want it to do, so it did solve a problem.I think if I had it to do over, I would look harder for some kind of tool that could really press the letters/numbers into the keys instead of relying on me sweating bullets to get them to imprint.Overall ok for the low cost.
What more can I say, other than the review title says?
This set is super cheap(not just the price). You would be better off picking up a set like this at walmart.
I needed a set of cheap sockets for work....I have nice name brand wrenches and sockets but needed a small set of sockets and wrenches that I could afford to abuse or lose...or get stolen by some of the slackjaw sobs I work with.....
My only complaint and the reason I didn't give it five stars is that the kit does not come with, in my opinion, a proper case.It comes with a blow-molded case with no top/lid, so everything is held in by the little nubs.I'm not very confident that the case will hold up to abuse.With that being said, I use this thing with a four pound sledge and not a mark on any of the pieces, so the hard bits seem to be a-ok.
These bits came as adveritised.For the price they are a good value, but I would not over torque these bits as I've had one of my star bits chip already under lite use.
I purchased this from CostCo solely for the small screwdriver set. I could not find a set from the local hardware stores and decided to risk the $18 asking price.

This is an excellent starting kit for someone wanting to do mechanical work but starting from nothing.SK tools are generally considered to be a couple of steps up in terms of quality from the Sears / Home Depot / Lowes box store brands, and light years ahead of the cheap Chinese specials.In many instances S-K tools compare very favorably to the top truck brands like Snap-On, Matco, Cornwell, or Mac Tools.For example I have sockets from ALL of these brands - and honestly - I prefer my S-K sockets overall.I can not say every SK tool I have picked up is my personal favorite when compared to every other brand - but - I CAN say that every S-K tool I have picked up compares quite favorably in terms of quality, construction, fit and finish to any other brand.These are tools meant to last a lifetime and provide service for years and years.If you are just starting out - this is a good place to begin.
I primarily work on my two Hondas (Acura Integra, and Honda S2000) and took a chance and purchased this product with no prior reviews. Thus far I've only had a chance to try it out on the front upper ball joints of my Acura Integra and I'm happy to report that it works as described. Hopefully those of you that see this will be less hesitant to buy it for working on a vehicle similar to mine.

I used a similar product on my 2004 Jetta Wagon and this tool doesn't fit the grooves at all. Too narrow for the VW piston.Tool could work with others, just not with VW products. Just FYI...
WOW - How did I ever get along without this tool before??? With 3 cars at home, and a farm tractor, finding the right socket has always been a chore - NO MORE!!!
This bag is a great buy and is just like the old Army tool bag. The bag is steardy enough for the heavest tools or anything else one would like to carry in it.
I purchased this set for work on a Porsche, removing axle shafts.The 8mm bit rounded off after torquing about (10) bolts to 30 ft-lbs.I ordered a new part from Snap-On.These don't seem to hold up well.
Tool kit is very comprehensive for the $$.I like the soft case for use on my boat.Has enough room for couple pairs of pliars.Owned the Stanley 87-195 prior but it grew legs:(This kit was half the price with more tools.Only down point is the zipper is weak and a little tempermental.I ordered two since the price was right and one had bad zipper, Amazon made good on it though.$.20 more in production cost for a YKK zipper would make this case bulletproof and a five star.Picture is hard to see but it does have a 3/8" drive.
If you work on older cars you need one of these sets. I borrowed one from my friend and liked it so much I bought my own. Granted OTC went off shore for manufacture it's still a quality tool set. It will seperate parts without ruining the rubber cups. No hammering an antique pickle fork anymore and gouging up everything. Great Deal!
I should have known...the old adage of "you get what you pay for" prevails.I already have a full array of high end tools, and bought this set just to keep in my truck tool box for emergencies.While, I was not having an emergency, but was not willing to walk to my shop for the correct socket size, so I decided to try out this set.Within the VERY FIRST USE, two components (an adapter and one socket) broke.No, I was not using a pipe for leverage...just normal usage.Oh well, what dya expect for the $10 or so I spent on this set.Buyer beware.
I purchased this for my son for Christmas.I got it on time and was pleased with the product.
This is a good quality tool set, although I've only owned for 2 months... the case is enormous however!
